You can be more direct about earning money with mobile apps and advertising. That forum or mastermind group you’re involved with can be a great place to market your app or offer it free in exchange for sign up – just make sure you’re not violating the forum rules by promoting it!
Usually, however, there is some provision in better forums for helpful self-promotion: A “special offers” section or allowed links in signatures or bio boxes. (Remember that a signature is often the first place where people will look and click, if you include a linked signature tagline such as “creator of the Cute Pup Pic app”.)
Your Facebook page, your blog and press releases to targeted directories are also 3 essential places where you’ll want to promote your new app to make money with mobile apps and ads.
Selling Your Apps
Selling your app is also an option and people have made serious money doing so.
On the other hand, people have also found selling an app frustratingly difficult.
Smashing Magazine has an excellent article on the basics of “How to Market Your Mobile App“.
Mobile Advertising to Make Money with Mobile Apps
Ads are also something you shouldn’t ignore, when it comes to monetizing your mobile marketing efforts and content. You can actually earn money, quite simply, for publishing ads in your mobile content with Google Mobile Ads.
And unlike some of Google’s other monetization options, Google Mobile Ads has a clean and simple guide with sections such as “Get Started” and “How it Works”.
SMS Text Ads from Other Companies
One option you may wish to avoid if you live in the US: reading SMS Text Ads. It sounds deceptively simple: Companies will pay you to receive Text ads on your mobile. In reality, this is akin to “link-farming” – the practice of putting links in totally irrelevant websites to artificially boost the number of exposures to a client paying for link-building services.
The amount you make is usually miniscule (and often less than the charges you’ll run up on your mobile, if you don’t have the right Text Messaging plan).
Accepting ads on your mobile for pennies is big business in India and parts of Asia, but doesn’t tend to be worth your time (and sometimes, the “per message” charges) in North America.

Facebook Mobile Ads
Facebook does show ads to mobile users and most Facebook ad impressions come from people using their mobile devices.
Facebook ads are displayed in their feed when users are on the Facebook application on their mobile products.
You can also show mobile ads on other Facebook Meta platforms such as Instagram and Messenger which many people use on their smartphones.
Take advantage of the Meta platform to make money with mobile apps and ads.
Making Money with Mobile Apps

Mobile devices are not only here to stay but taking over the globe at an almost unbelievable rate, creating their own massive momentum.
People who depend on mobiles are true addicts – and happy to be so. Feed their need – and you are well on your way to making the most of this fantastic, new stream of income.
